We are seeking talented individuals to join our energetic, compassionate team of behavioral health professionals in providing clinical excellence to our patients as they strive to meet their treatment goals and work towards an improved quality of life. We have a current opening for an Intake Clinician in our Assessment & Referral Department.

As an active member of the Intake Assessment team, the Assessment & Referral Clinician performs psychiatric assessments for incoming new patients, and provides psychiatric assessment services as requested for continuing patients.::

Job Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited program in nursing, social work, mental health or related field required, or a valid CA RN license.

Experience:  A minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations preferred.

Licensure: RN, LCSW or applicable licensure or Master’s level and license-eligible preferred.

Additional Requirements: Complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.  Must be trained in Handle with Care principles and CPR within 30 days of employment.
