Spring Mountain is seeking a dynamic and talented candidate for our Intake Department as our Intake Relations Associate.

Spring Mountain is comprised of two locations:

Spring Mountain Treatment Center  located in Las Vegas, Nevada is an 110-bed facility offering acute care psychiatric programs for kids, adolescents and adults. Please visit our website for additional program details:

Spring Mountain Sahara  located in Las Vegas, Nevada is an 30-bed facility offering acute care psychiatric programs for adults and senior adults. Please visit our website for additional program details:

The Intake Relations Associate coordinates filing of mental health petitions in the emergency rooms including coordinating notary services and filing petitions in family court. Monitors court dates for patients and assists in arranging transport of patients to court. Serves as liaison between Intake and the Business Office to ensure timely answering of inquiry and crisis phone calls. Data entry of information specific to intake and admissions functions. Completion of admission paperwork when necessary. Copy and distribution of paperwork.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Timely answering of intake inquiry and crisis phone call.
  • Preparation of daily follow up call sheets.
  • Prepare letters of acceptance and denial for residential referrals.
  • Data entry to include, but not limited to: Inquiry call data, Assessment data, Admission data, and Marketing Contact data.
  • Completion of admission paperwork.
  • Filling to include, but not limited to: Inquiry calls, Assessment information, Admission information and Insurance claims.
  • Timely filing of mental health petitions.
  • Coordinates notary services.
  • Performs petition filings in family court and monitors court dates for patients.
  • Coordinates patient transportation to court.
  • Copy and distribute as appropriate information included, but not limited to: Comprehensive assessments, registration paperwork, insurance and UR information.
  • Follow up calls to referral sources for additional clinical information requests.
  • Maintains logs for the department; COBRA log and insurance log.
  • Prepares packets for; Assessments, Admissions and Marketing.
  • Verification of insurance and benefits.
  • Follow up telephone calls for collections.
  • Communicates pertinent information to administrator and managers/directors in timely manner.
  • Communicates patient specific needs to managers and directors prior to admission.

Position Requirements:  Must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Two years college, or special training in related field would be beneficial.  Must have knowledge of work related subject area.  Must possess good communication skills and the ability to plan and organize.  Must possess strong computer skills.
