What You’ll Do

Integrated Business Planning manager (IBP) for the Optical business. This includes managing the bookings, revenue and unit signal alignment across functions for Optical.

The IBP manager is responsible for leading the OPTs (Operations Product Teams) in close partnership with Global Management Operations, Product Operations and other Supply Chain functions to deliver revenue attainment, customer experience, market share, financial (including inventory driven costs), and other fulfillment supply chain business outcomes by leading these major Integrated Business Plan elements:

  • Plan and achieve revenue goals
  • Drive customer excellence
  • Sense future business needs
  • Plan tracking & financials
  • Operations product lifecycle
  • Enable sales & customer wins

Support and execute the quarterly Strategic Planning Process with leaders from the Business Units, Finance, Sales and OPT members from your business segment to understand the business strategy and identify the priority fulfillment supply chain outcomes.

IBP Planner is a leader role that requires significant collaboration with many cross-functional leaders within Supply Chain Operations as well as Product Marketing and Finance leaders.

Your known for your excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and ability to create and deliver executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Business Administration, related supply chain management field or finance. MS degree equivalent preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of broad and deep supply chain experience - planning, inventory management, PLM, sourcing, P&L business aspects, modeling
  • Influencing and inter-personal skills for driving transformation in virtual team setting
  • Industry best practices knowledge & experience in:
  • Demand planning (i.e. sales statistical forecasting, revenue planning, collaborative planning with key customers, consensus demand planning)
  • Supply planning and scheduling (i.e., supply-demand balancing, critical component allocation, constrained revenue planning)
  • Lean demand pull, Flexibility; cost-delivery-inventory "what-if" trade-offs
  • Strong analytical skills to assess, frame and drive data-driven decisions. Recognizes underlying themes and patterns and reduces complex data to a few key conclusions that can easily be understood by others.
  • Provides thought leadership. Sees connections between supply chain actions and strategic business outcomes. Anticipates future threats and opportunities for our customers and businesses, and makes decisions based on global business conditions and strategies. Strategies are inclusive of data and intuition and encompass whole systems thinking.
  • Capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decisions with multiple partners, often at the Director and VP levels.
  • Deep experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve results by identifying and aligning to shared goals, priorities and commitments. Able to hold peers, partners and self accountable to commitments.
