Internal Wholesaler- Life Insurance (Plymouth, MN)

The incumbent works with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and external marketing partners including field office management, producers (independent and captive), Brokerage General Agencies (BGAs) and National Account personnel to uncover, develop, and close life insurance opportunities. They will provide pre-sale and marketing support for life products sold via captive (AD), third party channels (BGAs, institutions, including Edward Jones (EJ) and individual marketing organizations (IMO's) (M-Financial and CRUMP). This support includes proactive outreaches, appointment setting, product, marketing, and illustration support and follow up on informals (trial apps).
Internal Wholesalers will use phone lines that are recorded for training and quality purposes. Three or more years related experience in the life insurance industry is highly preferred. FINRA Series 6 OR Series 7 are required and must be obtained within 180 days from date of hire.
- Good working knowledge of Life Insurance products
Three or more years related experience in the life insurance industry, brokerage, life insurance or financial services sales experience is highly preferred
Ability to drive results and increase presence and market share in their assignment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
Solid understanding of compliance
Enthusiastic team player and self starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize work in a fast paced sales environment
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Industry designations such as CLU, CHFC, CFP are highly desirable
