The role reports directly to the International Compliance Monitoring and Analytics (iCMA) Lead, who oversees the full portfolio of ex-U.S. Compliance monitoring activities.

**Organizational Relationships**

 Collaborating with Corporate Audit, Finance, and Business Technology in the ongoing development, refinement, and roll-out of an advanced analytic solution that leverages data from enterprise financial systems and articulates risk across various domains, activities, and stakeholder populations ( e.g. , employees, vendors, customers, etc.)

 Leading, or representing CMA in, a range of cross-functional discussions and collaborations with internal stakeholders, including those from Legal, BT, Finance, and Compliance;

 Managing / coordinating strategic projects, both independently and in partnership with the iCMA Lead; at least initially, projects likely will focus on existing or emerging technologies to support and enhance the team's monitoring activities;

 Building and leading internal teams, with a focus on developing talent, as the function continues to grow and evolve over time;

 Understanding of (and/or ability to quickly establish expertise in) relevant business activities (e.g., healthcare compliance, pharmaceutical product promotion, financial interactions with potentially influential stakeholders, etc.), as well as applicable policies, procedures, and/or regulations.

 Understanding of (and/or ability to quickly establish expertise in) the nuanced risks -- both existing and emerging -- within the healthcare compliance and anti-corruption and anti-bribery spaces;

 Coordinating with internal partners, clients and other stakeholders to ensure that program objectives are met in a timely manner;

 Working with, and occasionally directing the efforts of, outside counsel, vendors and consultants; and

 Drafting memoranda documenting issues and trends or memorializing an approach, strategy, or process (job-aids, internal guidance documents, etc.).

 Excellent academic qualifications (Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, or data sciences preferred)

 Proven capabilities, including 8+ years of work experience in the areas of compliance / risk-mitigation or audit analytics (ideally in the healthcare / pharmaceutical space) and / or pharmacovigilence / safety analytics;

 Strong understanding of statistical modeling and data analytic methodologies, including data science / programming skills (R, Python, SAS, etc.) and experience using business intelligence tools (ETL, SQL, data wrangling);

 Innovative thinker with strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills;

 Superior project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and effectively lead project teams within a complex business and organizational environment;

 Strong understanding of principles of corporate/regulatory compliance, legal, audit and / or monitoring in regulated areas;

 Self-motivated and able to operate independently and as part of a team;

 Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;

 Strong business sense and understanding of the evolving business model;

 Ability to effectively interface across functions;
