What You'll Do

The International Trade Manager will be responsible for support to the logistics operations in the EMEAR Territory for the service supply chain including managing a pool of customs brokers, consultants, working with internal stakeholder organizations such as GET, GTC, product compliance, finance and will be maintaining and developing Trade Management infrastructures to support service sales growth and compliance, local warehousing, service delivery, returns management, inventory management, vendor management and cost management. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify optimization opportunities where commercially sustainable and consistent with supply chain and tax policies in close coordination with relevant stakeholders 
• Trade analysis, root cause of failures and manage import and export operations 
• Import/export infrastructure development to support Technical Services growth 
• Support process and procedure development, SOW, SOP, country manual, contracts 
• Analyze financial dashboards, E:R, vendor spend, country cost overviews 
• Develop and maintain external relationships with customs, government organizations, embassies and other organizations in support of providing a sustainable supply chain 
• Deploy, maintain and develop country, market and business sector intelligence to manage continuous improvement 
• Escalation contact for Trade issues in the region 
• Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision making within a broad scope, representing Trade Management 
• Creates new operational efficiencies and cost savings within the supply chain using process improvement and policy development 
• Returns logistics support in all aspects of Trade Management 
• Support audits. 
• Main contact for interaction and leverage with other similar business Functions in other theatres Vendor Management
 • Maintain Supply Chain Service Portfolio to industry standards and beyond by working through vendors leaving Cisco to concentrate on own core 
• Vendor management and budget management, cost containment and optimization 
• Establish forums to ensure continuous business reviews to ensure optimizations within vendor's business units 
• Drive & support Operational Excellence and Innovation 
• Advise about day to day operations management of vendors, corrective actions, projects 
• Able to create and maintain a budget in line with companies KPI’s 
• Consultant Vendor invoice audit and approvals, PO responsibility 
• Conduct quarterly business reviews

Who You'll Work With
ESLO (Emear Service Logistics and Operations) is part of the Cisco Services organization responsible for the EMEAR Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia). ESLO is tasked with delivering hardware replacement support to Cisco's customers and partners according to their Service contract. It is ESLO’s responsibility to ship replacement parts (Cisco equipment) & Field Services Engineer to the customer on time and agreement with the SLA’s and KPI’s. Cisco's Technical Services span the globe and operate 24 x 7, 365 days a year.

Minimum Qualifications 
 • BA/BS/MBA degree 10 years related experience in an outsourced logistic environment with responsibility for customs and trade management, preferably in the IT industry 
• Trade Management and product/export compliance experience; Experience working with Government organizations 
• Proven Track record in international trade management 
• Experience managing vendors or managed services 
• Understands and applies knowledge of the complexities and interdependencies of business processes. 
 • Experience in problem solving, presentation and collaborative team-building with non-direct reports required. 
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build relationships, cooperate as a team leader or team member, share information and deliver results with an international team 
• Experience working in complex, demanding and highly cross-functional environments 
 • Excellent knowledge of customs and international Trade regulations, specifically in the EMEAR region 
• Excellent English language skills, other languages in the Theatre are beneficial 
• Team player 
• Solid commercial skills and understanding; Contract negotiation experience 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and presentation skills 
• Proficient in the following tools: Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other desktop applications 

Desired Skills:  
• Understanding of ERP(oracle) and general tools that follow product and services ordering flows (CSCC , CCW) 
• Understanding of Cisco Service Logistics and Operations Understanding of quote to cash cycles.  Knowledge of Cisco products and services
