Job Description
Supports the supply chain through product inventory management.  Ensures the hospital is properly stocked for patient care adhering to contracted vendors and distribution channels.  Analyzes inventory level for the central store, stocked PAR inventory locations to maximize turnover rate and contract adherence.  Analyzes materials management information systems and recommends inventory adjustments and minimizes risk of stock out conditions. Uses lean / continuous improvement methodologies to recommend and implement inventory management processes and workflow improvements.  Responsible for customer relations and acts as liaison with vendor representatives.  Other functions as required.

Job Requirements

::

Contract, Purchasing and/or Inventory Control in healthcare preferred.  Experience with healthcare workflow information systems such as Cerner and McKesson preferred. 
Good analytical skills; skilled in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.  Understanding of hospital clinical terminology and operations.  Collaborative communicator able to work across functions.  Knowledge of administrative processes and computer operations to accurately enter and maintain information.
