Description of Role and Candidate Opportunities:

Trade Management is an integral component in the support of new and existing business to Prudential’s Capital Group and Prudential’s Mortgage Capital Company. PCG is a leading provider of private capital managing private fixed-income securities for a wide range of public and private companies.  PMCC has been in the commercial mortgage lending business for more than 125 years as they continue to generate new and different types of commercial mortgage loan originations and financing, throughout various market conditions.  The Trade Management area is responsible for several trade support functions including settlement / disbursement, custody, deal capture and performance reporting supporting Prudential Private Placement asset managers. Rotations within these functions are encouraged to provide growth and learning opportunities.  The Trade Support Associate position provides an opportunity for cultivation of leadership skills.  Talent is treated as a strategic differentiator and Trade Management is committed to attracting, engaging, developing, retaining, and actively managing a diverse and high quality talent pool for the organization.  Positions in Trade Management provide the opportunity to gain broad business knowledge by way of consistent exposure to a wide network of business partners.  These include corporate and business functions such as Corporate Banking, Treasury Services, Capital Markets, Operations and Systems, Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, as well as external banks and institutional investors.  Under the guidance of their supervisors, Associates are empowered to immediately contribute in a meaningful way, add significant value to organization initiatives and effect change.

Roles and responsibilities within Trade Management include:

• Disbursements – executing cash and trade settlements, positioning cash, and supporting the loan origination business.

• Custody – ensuring safekeeping and reconciliation to the bank for all physical assets.

• SVO – filing and reporting for all securities to meet insurance industry regulatory requirements.

• Deal Management – capturing all terms related to the trade into Prudential’s infrastructure system.

• Performance Reporting – calculation of portfolio returns, reporting asset level valuations and producing various         Enterprise and Asset management reports.


• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• All Majors Considered - degree in Finance, Economics or Business is preferred

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment

• Ability to learn and adapt to database and client server applications and reporting tools.

• Accuracy and detail oriented a must

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

• Adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. This includes working independently and on a team
