Job Requirements
The IOP Intake Coordinator shall perform all administrative, customer service, financial and reception duties delineated by the IOP Program Manager in a professional and efficient manner, demonstrating a positive attitude in all interactions. He or she must have an understanding of the importance of patient rights and confidentiality in all matters of patient care.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Current RN licensure or work permit in the state of Kentucky or any of the compact states. This position requires medium skill level in Math and Language and a high level in reason. No experience is required; however, psychiatric nursing is preferred.
 
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with the IOP Program Manager, coworkers, and physicians.
 
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to make independent decisions.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
