The Enterprise Integration Platform Lead (EIPL) is responsible for governing & managing integration across projects to enable consistent, cost effective, scalable and agile integration for PepsiCo. This person and team will develop the Enterprise integration platform and be the broker between teams and systems that want to exchange data (i.e. integration broker between data producers and data consumers). This lead will evangelize and inspire project teams to leverage standard integration approaches and patterns to reduce complexity and increase reuse across PepsiCo.

The EIPL will provide technical, data, and application integration leadership to transform redundant, point to point approaches to one of consistency, simplicity and agility. This person will also help PepsiCo move to a more agile development factory by identifying opportunities to decompose monolithic systems, and by creating a common services and APIs based reusable approach. The EIPL will partner with Business Relationship Management, Business Application Development & Delivery, Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, and IT operations teams.

  • Partner with Enterprise architecture to define and evangelize integration best practices, and establish the integration platform with enabling capabilities
  • Determine best approach and pattern to deliver data to applications through a reusable global data/integration hub and distribution framework for each project, to maximize reuse
  • Oversee integration design, development and delivery to ensure alignment with agreed approach
  • Ensure delivery of canonical schemas and data models (common formats) to enable integration
  • Identify and manage the creation of common APIs, web-services, micro-services, and orchestration functions with the goal to reuse, elimination of redundant logic in multiple apps, and cost reduction
  • Ensure published application services, interfaces and data gets catalogued, and ensure associated metadata is clear, consistent, and stays up to date
  • Ensure all integration platform components are well integrated, highly available & scalable, and adequately monitored


  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree strongly preferred
  • Seasoned IT professional with more than 15 years of IT experience, with 5 to 8 years in leading and delivering successful solutions to business problems by leveraging the power of integration, common services, and orchestration. Ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience leading solutions from initial visioning to final deployment and adoption (Demonstrating the ability to not only generate ideas but taking it through solution development and launch).​
  • Excellent influencing skills to drive compliance to architecture standards and guidelines across the enterprise. Highly motivated and decisive thought leader with excellent collaboration skills comfortable at navigating and influencing in a fast moving, global environment.
  • Conceptual selling and ability to present architecture recommendations in a simple, compelling, business relevant manner with clear impact analysis.
  • Ability to think broadly and influence multiple decision makers with strong verbal and written communication skills to influence senior leaders, including technical lexicon
  • In depth experience and knowledge of integration patterns and technologies​
  • Advanced knowledge and delivery experience in Publish Subscribe, API's/Services, Workflow and Orchestration, Messaging, B2B, EAI, ETL, data mapping and transformation, canonical data models , data catalogue/metadata and other integration concepts
  • Working experience with open source technologies, high scale transaction processing, Agile development methods, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), and high automation across the delivery life cycle
