Job Details


Owns and leads the pre-launch and launch strategy of a brand in chronic pain disease for the Italy market. Implements a regional pre-launch and launch tactics with appropriate tailoring to meet market specific needs using a combination of environmental analyses, chronic pain patient insights and in-depth understanding of payer/policy maker positions. Ensures a Patients First approach is taken with all key strategies and tactics; develops long term relationships with patient groups recognizing the importance of co-creation and partnerships. Ensures critical market shaping activities are executed across Italy prior to the launch in order to ensure access for chronic pain patients throughout the country.

**Main Responsibilities**

+ Implements patients first pre-launch strategy across Italy

+ Participates actively as member of regional launch excellence team

+ Ensures the chronic pain patient journey is mapped and understood for key markets with patient insights and needs incorporated into plans

+ Ensures full understanding of current treatment paradigms and patient, HCP and payer attitudes towards the treatment of chronic pain

+ Assures the set-up and leadership of market XFTs with membership to include regulatory, medical, market access and local policy and public affairs

+ Tailors regional chronic pain burden of illness communications plan and data to local needs and executes regional campaign at local level leveraging country specific data and available outcomes resources

+ Engages local patient advocacy groups and physician groups in chronic pain dialogue and work to ensure support of burden of illness communications plan

+ Engages, in association with local market access, payers to ensure burden of illness to health systems is understood and ensures full understanding of payer requirements. Supports and supplements Country Manager with external stakeholders communications objectives and plans

+ Works closely with regional team on launch sequencing and access strategy - provides clear feedback on Italian requirements with a future looking mindset and a willingness to develop innovative approaches

+ Works closely with regional team to implement a disease state campaign through digital channels whilst leveraging innovative methods of engagement with critical stakeholders

+ Manages brand budget and leads OP19 for Italy

+ Feeds into regional and global market research projects as appropriate

+ Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies,SOPs, Pfizer Values, regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines, as appropriate, etc.

+ Bachelor's Degree; Master degree or MBA desired

+ Preferred 8-10 years pharmaceutical commercial experience with marketing & access experience a plus

+ Knowledge and experience in Pain TA is preferred

+ Launch products experience is preferred

+ In-depth knowledge of access requirements and processes are highly preferred with comfort and experience in interpreting data

+ Experience in developing innovative digital approaches to business challenges and a forward looking mindset regarding digital transformation

+ Proven track record as a high performerExpect candidates to demonstrate Head, Heart and Guts leadership

+ Regular contract, full time
