Description:

Ensure Pepsico Supply Chain inventory systems and processes support measured Supply Chain metrics such as product availability, inventory accuracy, and requested arrival date for warehouse orders for non-finished goods (ingredients wet and dry as well as packaging materials), semi-finished goods and finished goods.

Daily review, processing and analysis of warehouse inventory orders (inbound and outbound) against available inventory. Coordinate both internal and external customer order/delivery receipt processing through timely and accurate data input in various warehouse and transportation delivery systems such as outbound monitor (SAP), Digital Supplier/WMS, and like systems.

Daily, inventory reconciliation and reporting by site or commodity between Pepsico and 3PL warehouse inventory systems.

Maintain and enhance established relationships with 3PL providers and attached distribution DCs to support manufacturing activities through timely order fulfillment and inventory reconciliation.

Position also identifies service issues and implements process improvements that increase efficiency, improve service, and maximize 3PL effectiveness to the Pepsico Supply Chain while minimizing financialrisk and impacts to our partner Supply Chain areas (Customer Logistics, Production Planning and Deployment, Freight, etc.)

Analyze and control site inventory through accurate, timely data and documentation processing utilizing established FIFO processes and aging controls.

Monitor and report on aging or Non-conforming product (NCP) inventory on a periodic basis to ensure appropriate product rotation that supports minimizing costs and risks of product loss.

Coordinate NCP product final dispositions with Quality Control and Finance through quality measures and processes.

Work in a highly collaborative Team environment where team members \"own\" location or product types and are expected to backfill team members on as-needed basis.

Responsible for completing accurate and timely inventory S-OX and Chilled warehouse reporting requirements.


5+ years' experience in manufacturing/demand planning/order fulfillment support role operating using SAP or other like ERP-type supply chain system. Inventory balancing and LOT/LOT management.

3+ years' experience with inventory order management & control with LOT coded items including raw ingredients, packaging materials, and high-turn finished goods. Prefer citrus or perishable products.

3+ years' experience in Manufacturing BOM order fulfillment.

Keen ability to maintain and improve customer relations with domestic and international Third Party Logistics (3PL) vendors by use of prudent and collaborative decision making with emphasis and understanding on how it impacts a manufacturing supply chain model.

Able to exhibit strong and flexible interpersonal skills and show an ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment by collaborating with others in open office culture. This includes being a sustaining Team contributor during times of manager absence due to travel.

Understanding of transportation processes around order management and fulfillment.

Good understanding of contractual services agreement language and general operational clauses.

Good working knowledge of cost accounting concepts and Microsoft Excel.

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, in particular when working with multiple cultures and customs.

Advanced understanding of FIFO inventory controls as it relates to production receiving, storage and shipping.

Capability to independently obtain, analyze and report data in a progressive and independent fashion using available system and reports.

Basic understanding of food safety programs.

Willing to travel 1-2x's per year.

Light filing and documentation archiving, cross-functional training/PepsiCo required training, vacation coverage and other duties as assigned.
