POSITION SUMMARY:

As a core member of Global FCRM (Financial Crimes Risk Management) R&D team, associate will be responsible to implement customized Actimize SAM solution(s) for Global BU's. Essential duties include design, develop, test and deploy various Actimize components based on published functional specifications/user stories.

  • Partner with the anti-fraud Compliance, Operations and Product Management teams to ensure the applications provide the functional and technical capabilities necessary to meet business and compliance requirements. This includes reviewing new business requirements, and creating design documents. It includes modeling, qualitative and quantitative analysis and trends, and recommendations to improve transaction monitoring and programs accordingly.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and support product development programs/projects during discovery, design, development, deployment, and support activities. Also, institute best practices and manage application lifecycle management processes appropriate for AML applications.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders including GSO, training, I&O, Architecture, PMO & Procurement when required to assist in other aspects of their projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Overall 8-10 years of IT experience majorly in financial services industry
  • 3-5 years implementation experience using Actimize
  • Must have worked on and led complex RCM, SAM, CDD and WLF implementations
  • Strong Java and SQL background with enterprise level implementation experience
  • Hands-On experience working on Integrations using web services/REST/Messaging
  • Strong data collection skills using modestly complex SQL and the ability to present and explain the data.
  • Critically evaluate information and decompose into detailed description of issue.
  • Working with Business directly
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision


Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability as a problem-solver
  • Expert in object oriented JavaScript/jQuery Expert in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Working knowledge in security and performance
  • Working knowledge in CI (continuous integration)
  • Working knowledge of CSS pre-processors ie: LESS, SASS
