Job Description

Lead Clinician – Dual Diagnosis Partial Hospitalization Program

Arbour-HRI Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Lead Clinician for the Dual Diagnosis Partial Hospitalization Program. This is a Monday through Friday salaried position.

The Dual Diagnosis PHP and IOP at Arbour-HRI Hospital are short-term intensive group therapy programs geared towards addiction recovery and mental health needs of a co-ed population. Common issues addressed include but are not limited to sober living, coping with urges and cravings, relapse and overdose prevention, mood instability, stress, anxiety, sadness, anger management, depression, trauma, and relationships. The program utilizes a harm-reduction model and incorporates a specialized group curriculum to reinforce skills for addiction recovery and relapse prevention. Participants attend group therapy sessions each day, meet with a clinician for individualized counseling and case management needs, and visit with a psychiatric prescriber for medication management.

As the Lead Clinician, you will:

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
  • Lead therapy groups
  • Document clients’ treatment
  • Complete diagnostic assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention
  • Provide milieu management
  • Coordinate daily intake arrivals and assign intakes to be completed by staff
  • Provide clinical support and observation of clinical interns
  • Update the daily census with client attendance and monitor and document show rates/referral sources for marketing purposes
  • Provide programmatic overview to interested referral sources, potential clients, and/or other outside sources

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • LCSW and Masters in counseling or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years in clinical coordinating role - preferably in PHP or IOP, outpatient counseling, inpatient care coordination, and/or experience in substance use treatment
  • Preferred LICSW or LMHC and experience in substance use counseling
