RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and conduct investigations enterprise-wide, primarily regarding fraud against the company.
  • Question persons of interest and third party witnesses, both formally and informally.
  • Collect and secure evidence to determine the extent and nature of the fraud committed.
  • Prepare reports of complex investigations.
  • Testify as a witness in court proceedings.
  • Interface directly with management and representatives from corporate counsel.
  • Conduct other investigations as assigned.
  • Obtain, discretely handle, and work with fragmentary evidence to initiate investigations.
  • Develop evidence for difficult cases from interviews, surveillance, documentary examinations, witness testimony and forensic examination.
  • Utilize various investigative techniques to establish interrelationships of facts or evidence.
  • Provide expert testimony in court cases when appropriate
  • Work with the management, corporate security and/or corporate counsel on restricted confidential topics.
  • Liaise with Federal, State & Local Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Contributes to the development of new processes and technologies to improve the investigative process
    Make recommendations to the VP-CSS in regards to improving efficiencies and reducing cost.
  • Exercise a great amount of independent decision making and acts as a subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; criminal justice, law, or in a related field.
  • 15+ years of law enforcement, military, or industry experience preferred.


Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in executing investigative duties acquired through practical experience in the public, government and/or private sectors.
  • Possess expert knowledge of the legal concepts of ''limited disclosure'', ''chain of custody'', ''evidence'', \"investigations.\"
  • Experience with Executive Protection and Event Security.
  • Law enforcement or industry-specific knowledge regarding common tools and techniques utilized in investigations of fraudulent activities.
  • Experience in court proceedings, presenting evidence and supporting corporate or judicial counsel.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.
  • A strong sense of accountability is a must.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Effective business writing skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to country norms and practices.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with senior level management.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and react quickly and calmly to changing or emergency circumstances.
  • Requires valid Passport and ability to travel 10% to 15%.
