Here's where you come in. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, your contributions will extend beyond fulfilling prescriptions. You'll incorporate your knowledge of specialty medications with compounding infusion medications. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. Strong attention to detail and computer skills are required as you confirm prescription orders and information for the automated fulfillment for accuracy. It's a fast paced, high volume environment where accuracy is essential. The role also requires you to monitor products that have been recalled to ensure safety protocols are followed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inventory and purchasing management
  • Making calls to patients regarding refills and scheduling deliveries
  • Confirming supply and medication orders with patient
  • Updating medication profiles for patients
  • Processing and preparing orders for shipment and delivery
  • Compounding IV specialty medications both acute and chronic while adhering to USP797 guidelines.
  • Working with a team of Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, and Nurses


  • High school diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent years of work experience
  • State of NE Pharmacy Tech License
  • National Pharmacy Tech Certification
  • 3+ years of pharmacy related experience
  • 2+ years of IV (infusion) Compounding experience. Experience must be in either a Specialty Pharmacy, Hospital, or Home Infusion environment.
  • Knowledge of USP797 guidelines
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
  • Ability to work from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. This shift is subject to change based on business needs and can include occasional overtime.
