The Lead Retention Marketing Manager will develop and execute strategic requirements that meet DIRECTV’s Retention business objectives. This position will be accountable for developing and providing business and systems requirements, analysis discussions, and becoming the subject matter expert on product and offers that meet the needs of the marketing team. The Lead Marketing Manager is expected to work independently, as well as work with cross-functional groups (e.g. Retention, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Business Analytics, Finance, Commercial Operations, Information Technology, etc.) to identify solutions and enhancements in support of company offers and products designed to achieve specific marketing goals. This position will require minimum travel to different corporate locations as needed.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Utilize multiple inputs, including competitive intelligence, program analytics and customer data, to develop retention programs and monitor effectiveness of program goals and objectives

+ Work cross functionally with various departments such as Marketing, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Finance and Revenue strategy to determine the best solutions to meet business objectives and requirements

+ Serve as primary interface and manager for day-to-day operations necessary to maintain key business goals

+ Use effective time and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for programs’ implementation, execution and subsequent program operations and performance tracking

+ Work collaboratively with all levels of management and provide ongoing status of project and program objectives

+ Drive change by modifying and creating business rules & requirements and working with other parts of the business to implement new processes and procedures that support products and offers in an integrated environment

+ Understand, gather, document and effectively communicate program business requirements to cross functional partners and ensure that solutions meet the needs and objectives of the marketing and retention stakeholders

+ Facilitating meetings and proactively work action items, and ensure that issues are brought to resolution

+ Communicating program status (to key stakeholders and Sr. Management)



**Qualifications:**



+ 3-5 years relevant marketing experience

+ Excellent Program and Project Management skills

+ Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe

+ Proficiency in standard MS Office applications

+ Knowledge of call center operations and activities is a plus

+ Travel required (up to 25%)

+ Demonstrated success managing marketing retention projects

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
