HomeNet Automotive, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer (DevOps) with deployment automation and code base management experience to join our team in Exton, PA.The Lead Software Engineer (DevOps) is a versatile and highly motivated individual who supplies front line technical support and customer service. As the Lead Software Engineer (DevOps), you will be responsible for providing escalation, technical and developer support for production issues for customers. Being a vital part of the DevOps team involves working on highly complex systems and providing general technology support services for both internal and external clients, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and total resolution of each support incident. Your role as a DevOps professional will be as a central figure supplying technical expertise to our clients as well as to other team members.


The Lead Dev Ops Engineer is much more than a coder; they can effectively mentor those around them, as well as organize and rally the team around a common goal.


Technology We Use:

C#, ASP.NET, .Net 3.5/4.0/4.5 and Visual Studio 2008-2017, Object-oriented design concepts and design patterns, XML/JSON, SOAP/REST, WCF and multi-tier distributed systems, Amazon AWS and Micro-service technologies


Your Role:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
  • Communicate clearly, strongly and effectively to small and large groups
  • Mentor technical resources in project teams.
  • Define and evangelize best practice design and modeling methodologies
  • Work with the team to ensure the quality of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
  • Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor with key internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of IT delivery experience, especially in Internet environments
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on large-scale software implementations with design and hands-on development using current Microsoft tools and technologies
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi-tier, distributed enterprise architecture environments
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Windows-based operating system environments
  • Established yourself as a DevOps SME within an organization.

  • Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .Net 3.5/4.0/4.5 and Visual Studio 2008-2017
  • Experience with XML/JSON, SOAP/REST, WCF and multi-tier distributed systems

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects and organize effectively
