We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to be the hands-on Lead Designer of a highly visible product portfolio. You will be working closely with multiple scrum teams to help continuously innovate and deliver effective, easy to use applications. You will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product owners, technical leads and other stakeholders on UX strategy and implementation
  • Collaborate with and inspire other team members, keeping up with the design industry evolution including best practices, new trends and tools
  • Analyze user feedback to iterate on designs to enhance the user experience
  • Mentor other UX designers as part of cross-functional scrum teams
  • Communicate best practices for design and reasoning behind UX decisions to key stakeholders
  • Translate concepts into wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design experience
  • Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools
  • Proficient in prototyping tools such as Flinto, InVision, Marvel, etc
  • Familiar with the benefits of methods such as Atomic Design and achieving reusability in both the designs and tooling
  • Ability to work with the product team and clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet our needs and vision
  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions
  • Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
  • Exceptional portfolio of shipped creative product design that showcases your visual and interaction design abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a design leadership role
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. React knowledge is a double plus
  • Ability to lead and incorporate user research, testing activities and deliverables
