Description

Position Summary
The Learning Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals, including process training for clients and employees, as well as serving as support and trainer for Corporate training programs; supports current programs and contributes to the development of new instructor-led and e-learning courses; responsible for tracking all program participation, evaluating performance improvement and the effectiveness of programs; plan and implement improvements and/or updates to all programs
Primary Duties
  • Designs, develops, implements and delivers corporate and site specific training and development programs including writing of presentations, facilitator/participant guides, handouts, visual presentations, testing instruments, etc.
  • Coordinates and conducts new hire onboarding as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records of all training related documentation.
  • Contribution to curriculum design and instructional strategies; partnering with HR and Management to improve internal programs and address the needs of each target audience.
  • Analysis of training needs based on supervisor feedback, direct observation, performance and/or analysis of customer feedback.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with managers and key business partners.
  • Manage LMS and reporting for various programs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years training related work experience; minimum of 2 years leadership or management facilitation experience.  Soft skills Training Certifications preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop training curriculum/programs in diverse subject matters.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other training software.
  • Ability to develop training programs from analysis stage to evaluation stage.
  • Excellent communication, teambuilding and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel required, <20%.
