Ready for a challenge? In this position, you'll be tasked with supporting the Network Management Team by providing an excellent provider experience. Be prepared to juggle multiple priorities including improvement of provider retention rates through creative solutions; identifying trends and movements within the provider network; working collaboratively with multiple inter and intra departmental stakeholders.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management of provider maintenance and retention

  • Develop plans to meet short-term objectives

  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion

  • Manage and promote provider and customer experience

  • Help Identify/Develop process improvements through collaboration

  • Oversee day to day operations of the Relations Team to ensure network adequacy


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience

  • 4+ years’ contract and data management experience

  • 2 years supervisory/leadership experience

  • Understanding of medical and dental provider networks and associated troubleshooting techniques

  • Negotiation and contracting skills

  • Ability to analyze costs accurately and efficiently

  • Demonstrated ability to lead the activities of others as well as manage and monitor performance

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships within health care organizations

  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical, dental, or healthcare insurance experience

  • Marketing/Sales experience

  • National Career Readiness Certificate

  • Possess a working knowledge of medical and dental terminology

  • Database experience

  • SharePoint, Visio

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people/disciplines at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing situations

  • Ability to lead and direct the abilities of others

  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills

  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong analytical thinking; multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to problem solve and propose solutions

  • Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities under extreme deadlines and must also be willing to travel on an occasional basis
