**Job Description**



To directly manage local health economy (Area Teams, CCGs, Commissioning Support Units large GPs/practices and hospitals) in order to implement the Customer Implementation Plan through excellence in account management with the support of Sales; to influence opinion formers on local NHS topics.







**Responsibilities**



Strategy development:



Recommendations to AD for regional strategy for customer implementation (CI)



from CCG/local health economy perspective;



Recommendations to Brand Marketing on product strategy and tactics in CCGs/local



health economy to support customer needs



Provision of insights and proposed responses on national NHS topics to AD



Insights on Value Proposition development by therapy to Customer Marketing (CM)



Strategy Team







Account Management:



Annual plans with strategic objectives and priorities devised, agreed with AD and



implemented for CCGs/local health economy, consistent with national strategy and



ensuring commercial management of effective customer relations



Annual budgets devised and agreed with AD for CCGs/local health economy



Identify commercial opportunities with NSTLs based on local feedback and knowledge



and agree business development projects with AD



Resource usage and review mechanisms agreed with NSTLs



Plans include review mechanisms and agreed targets for customer contacts, profit,



value, volume, growth and market share



Value Propositions and offers from Brand POA tailored to support implementation of



Customer Implementation plan in local health economy via NSTL field sales resource



Customer insights in relation to products/therapy communicated to AD



Customer, trade and competitor information communicated to CM Strategy Team



Key customers, decision-makers and influencing network identified within and



impacting on CCGs/local health economy



Local health economy contact plan devised and implemented to glean information on



and influence local NHS-linked organisations



Effective relationships developed with key opinion-formers and stakeholders in



CCGs/local health economy, allowing SM teams opportunities to promote Pfizer products



and services as appropriate



Business development opportunities implemented within CCGs/local health economy,



using Sales resource as appropriate







People Management:



Agree with NSTLs resource needed for delivery of local plans



Performance Measures



Strategic objectives for CCGs/local health economy set, consistent with regional



strategy



CCGs/local health economy deliverables include product objectives



AD always fully informed on NHS issues relevant to CCGs/local health economy



Value propositions available to suit local needs



Performance measurement processes managed in therapy areas and CCGs/ local health



economy



Effective liaison with Sales Managers (NSTLs) on local health agenda and resource



planning in therapy areas and CCGs/local health economy



Performance monitored and reported on monthly against plan targets and budgets and



product objectives



Contact targets and Sales Reps resource plans reviewed monthly with NSTLs



Contact plan implemented; contacts established with all relevant local health



organisations & professional groups



Account management practices and procedures followed



Internal resources maximised to support implementation of plans



Sales budgets targets met



Business development projects delivered as agreed



NSTLs teams' business performance tracked and monitored with NSTLs
