Position Title: Longevity Reinsurance Transfer (LRT) Processor

This position is within PRT Client Services, located in Scranton PA. The Longevity Reinsurance Transfer (LRT) Processor role is in the New Business team.  The primary responsibilities involve processing counterpart and on-going files for the administration of the longevity reinsurance business, and includes:

  • Review all necessary documents available to understand the details of the contract, and request clarification where needed
  • Process monthly reconciliation's, involving downloading input files, running compares, reconciling, researching and resolving disputes
  • Process trace responsibilities in accordance with the frequency determined by the contract
  • Process annual data cleanses, including researching responses from the cedant
  • Escalate concerns (ex. new or unusual findings) appropriately
  • Participate in internal cedant meetings, facilitated by the relationship manager
  • Monitor the longevity mailbox, keeping other LRT Processors notified of applicable activities
  • Evaluate the longevity processes for efficiencies and determine best practices
  • Provide feedback to Technical Specialists regarding tools and transitioning longevity reinsurance transactions
  • Partner closely with Technical Specialists on various aspects of administering the contracts, and provide support where appropriate
  • Analyze risk and propose business solutions for the on-going administration of the longevity reinsurance business
  • Support audit and risk work
  • Work on special projects as needed
