Job Description
The Lowell Treatment Center is seeking a full time Bachelor's Level Counselor for our Community Services Program! We are seeking caring individuals with an interest in behavioral health and/or human services to join our team.We provide a comprehensive orientation and training program to all new staff.New graduates with a Bachelor’s degree welcome to apply! The BA Counselor provides one-to-one training, support and case management services to individuals and their families as clinically indicated. Will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team supporting the program’s treatment philosophy as well as assuring the deliverance of quality treatment to patients. These services are provided in the patient’s home and/or community. This individual will be responsible for psychosocial assessments, to include goals, plans, and identified obstacles. Case Management duties will include documentation of the need for current level of care as well as coordinating discharge planning with patients, families and outside agencies as necessary. Will provide a structured, one-to-one, strength based support to individuals for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication needs. Specific services will include supporting, coaching and training the individual in age appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution and relating appropriately to others pursuant to a behavioral health treatment plan developed by an outpatient, or in-home therapy provider in concert with the family and youth whenever possible, or individual care plan (ICO) for youth with ICC.
