Position Summary:
The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program Manager is responsible for clinical and financial functioning. S/he will be the primary program contact and provide case management services, group leadership, utilization review, and clinical supervision to staff and interns. Ideal candidates will possess: PHP experience; unrestricted Massachusetts independent licensure (LICSW or LMHC); and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, staff, insurance companies, collateral contacts and community/state/federal resources. In addition, successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to create individualized, strength-based, culturally competent, sustainable treatment and discharge plans. Requirements
Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field. LICSW or LMHC with unrestricted independent Massachusetts licensure. Experience: Five years post-masters experience required. Technical Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in written and spoken word. Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to interact compassionately and appropriately with mentally ill patients and their families. Physical/Mental Demands: Ability to manage staff and patients in an intense setting; prioritize tasks; set and adhere to professional boundaries, and demonstrate patience and flexibility. Environmental Demands: Labile pace. Much time spent sitting and walking. May work in noisy and congested areas. May be exposed to violent patients and bodily fluids.
