The **Maintenance Supervisor** is the administrative/managerial focal point for the maintenance department. This position provides the necessary over-view and planning to maintain a cohesive organization that provides the facility with the technical services for equipment and facility maintenance. This position coordinates all maintenance efforts related to manufacturing in a specific area and shift. This individual must ensure proper coordination of all activities with other organizations within the facility.

**Duties/Responsibilities:**







+ The Maintenance Supervisor is the administrative/managerial focal point for the maintenance department.



+ This position provides the necessary over-view and planning to maintain a cohesive organization that provides the facility with the technical services for equipment and facility maintenance. This position coordinates all maintenance efforts related to manufacturing in a specific area and shift. This individual must ensure proper coordination of all activities with other organizations within the facility.



+ Controls maintenance operations budgets.



+ Directs skilled labor in testing, evaluating process changes, modifying equipment, and maintenance of equipment and facility.



+ Coordinates maintenance activities with other organizations at plant and division levels.



+ Provides interface on key maintenance issues and problems with manufacturing management.



+ Ensures cGMP compliance and conformance to all regulatory requirements.



+ Provides technical resolution to maintenance problems on a timely basis and with appropriate urgency.



+ Provides motivation and work environment conducive to producing technological resolution of problem areas and establishes necessary contingency plans.



+ Identifies opportunities for equipment improvements, develops alternative solutions for problem areas and assists manager in contingency plans to prevent repetitive problems.



+ Provides emergency breakdown repair service at any time. Supervises any one of three operating shifts.



+ Maintains all equipment and/or facilities within area of assignment



+ Perform other related duties as assigned or required.







**Qualifications:**







+ BS/BA degree in Engineering



+ Associate's degree in Engineering with 5 years industrial maintenance experience



+ High School Diploma/ GED and 10 years industrial maintenance experience.



+ Must have demonstrated leadership ability and/or potential to manage projects and personnel activities.



+ Must be able to exercise leadership and diplomacy when coordinating and working with all levels of employees and outside contractors.



+ Must have demonstrated the ability to manage assigned commitments within the maintenance budget.



+ Must have a good background in electrical, plc's and computer systems.
