Our claims operations, including our Claims Business Process Analysts, are the focal point of handling information about services patients receive and the way those services get paid. Positions in this function are responsible for all related aspects of claim system processes and claim business rules. Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses / planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise claims support for all related aspects of claim system processes and claim business rule

  • Ensure data integrity, data security and process optimization by identifying trends and provide reports as necessary

  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance

  • Facilitate development of process documentation including process mapping

  • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.

  • Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.

  • Basic, structured, standard approach to work.

  • Makes decisions on basic updates needing to be made without guidance

  • Gives input on decisions involving development of macros and prioritization

  • Able to escalate problems out of scope to more senior staff

  • Problem solving

  • Root cause analysis

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher
  • Ability to perform  basic troubleshooting and debugging concepts
  • 1+ years of relevant coding experience (Macro Express, VBScript, VBA, .NET, etc.) or equivalent
  • Experience with MS Excel - creating and editing data on a spreadsheet
  • Intermediate experience with MS Access - archiving and creating databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to create and maintain End User Macros with limited help
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience MS SharePoint – retrieving and inputting documents
