Description:

Manage the activities of the Maintenance department to ensure that equipment is well maintained and supports the production of the highest Quality product while providing Safety for all human and environmental aspects of the PGCS Arlington facility. Develop, Implement, and Maintain strategies at the Arlington level (such as Maintenance Strategy and PeMM) in support of and in alignment with the Technical department overall Strategy. Coordinate and collaborate with the necessary business functions at the Operations Team level.

Resource Conservation:

  • Deliver continuous improvement around water usage
  • Deliver continuous improvement around energy usage
  • Deliver continuous improvement around waste to landfill
  • Maintenance Excellence
  • Quality support
  • Safety Support
  • Development/Execution of Annual Maintenance Budget


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Technical field degrees are strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years in engineering experience with special focus on Maintenance management roles within production or process industry
  • Experience with Down Time, Work order compliance, Overtime tracking,
  • Capability to develop commercial terms
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, control & automation systems
  • Previous experience with projects & operations handling flammable liquids with strong knowledge of associated building/process design codes & standards
  • Strong leadership skills showing a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives of varying priorities.
  • A solid understanding of food/beverage processing, sanitation and microbiology
  • A commitment to safe operations, both behavioral and process related
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork and a team-based environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proficient communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including corporate and division, exempt, nonexempt, and hourly personnel. Must demonstrate an attitude of respect and professionalism when interacting with others
  • Demonstrated strong initiative; self motivation with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to analyze, process high volumes of information and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner; with precise attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy and follow through in problem solving.
  • Flexibility in hours & weekend work required
