Job Details

You will be a key part of the Biotechnology and Aseptic Sciences Group / Manufacturing Science and Technology (BASG/MSAT) which aims to deliver on process robustness and customer satisfaction through innovative solutions to manufacturing issues. This position specifically involves the management of technical and business activities for product transfers to and from the Pfizer network and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs); and development / improvement of manufacturing processes for new and existing aseptic biologics and vaccines.

This position will be located in Puurs, Belgium.

Approximately up to 50% travel may be required to support localization projects.

The ideal candidate will be capable of:

+ Providing technical subject matter expertise and issue resolution for major/complex investigations for aseptic biologics and vaccines and assisting in completing all required documentation in a timely manner

+ Participating in the Co-Development process, particularly in Late Stage Development/Phase 3 Clinical Supply to commercialization and continued product support

+ Contributing to the design of formulation processes and fluid paths for aseptic biologics and vaccine drug products

+ Contributing to and managing moderately complex projects; Leading Drug Product Technical Team(s), where applicable

+ Preparing documents including protocols, reports, technical assessments, memos, and study plans, as needed

+ Collaborating with wet and analytical labs (e.g., Experimental Pilot Plant in Puurs) to execute exploratory or feasibility studies

+ Interfacing with and influencing diverse customers including site groups from PGS (Ops, Technical Services, Quality) and network groups such as Local Markets, PD&S, PharmSci, VRU, GCMC

+ Attending project meetings, presenting data, and supporting senior management team including travel, when needed

+ Maintaining monthly project updates in project tracking system and other methods, as requested

Function profile:

+ Master degree (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Engineering, Life Sciences)

+ Min 7 years experience

+ Fluent English
