What you'll do at

Operations, design, and user experience are incredibly important at Walmart eCommerce. We look to the Manager, Design Operations to envision how to clear the path for our designers to help people save money and live better with Walmart. The Design Ops team helps transform complex processes and systems into simple, accessible resources that help our design teams improve the shopping experience for our millions of customers around the world. To do this you’ll use your knowledge of operations, resource allocation, and tools/systems to empower the UX process (research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing) for our content strategists, architects, designers, researchers, product managers and engineers.

Your Approach to Work:
• Continually develops excellent knowledge of eCommerce as it relates to user experience, business opportunities and trends, platforms, processes, and capabilities.
• Identifies the strategic issues that need to be addressed (user experience, competitive requirements, corporate needs) out of multiple possibilities.
• You’re an individual contributor who leads the work of key projects or an entire track of work.
• Demonstrates good domain knowledge, functional knowledge and understanding of business impact.
• Develops tools/processes to address the issues (analyze, communicate and/or change.)
• Effectively determine best methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate the activities of other team members.
• Translate goals into results; understands financial impact of decisions made.
• You easily perform your work autonomously and do not require supervision.
• Excellent communicator, who influences internal networks and subject matter experts to drive results for (various-sized) projects.
• Develops and maintains strong internal/external working relationships that foster mutual respect, teamwork and results.
• Effectively works with others to identify trade-offs or potential conflicts between functional goals and objectives and negotiate potential outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years relevant operations experience within eCommerce; or Master's degree and 2+ years relevant operations experience within eCommerce.
