Description:
TITLE:            Manager, Digital Product Development (The Prudential Insurance Company of America – Hartford, Connecticut and various unanticipated Prudential office locations and client sites nationally)
 
DUTIES:         Communicate complex technical design and digital information to business leaders and design teams. Work with User Experience team and Customer Office to define online experience and screen design. Develop website, and mobile sites. Utilize knowledge of the institutional retirement business, as well as participant and plan sponsor lifecycles to manage small to medium scale enhancements to Prudential Retirement's websites. Support technology on creation of functional requirements. Gather and transform customer and business needs into an actionable product roadmap, and product roadmaps into product requirements. Interface with external entities, including vendors, consultants, advisors, clients, and participants. Liaise between project sponsors and stakeholders, and technical teams. Manage Agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies. Drive the development of the business scope and serve as subject matter expert for the development of business requirements. Work with customer transactions and communication, operational work flows, internet technologies, and development methodology for a complex multi-business environment. Answer questions and resolve problems with technology and business owners. Build products on Android, iOS, Amazon, Blackberry, Nokia, Connected TVs, and Wearables. Perform Business Acceptance testing. Track and report project results to management. Work with Customer Experience Readiness Manager for any internal or external communication and training needs. Act as a subject matter expert for digital platforms. Support digital team as Web Accessibility subject matter expert. Integrate digital customer experience with key channels. Work on web analytics platforms including Google Analytics. Support remote User testing and in person usability studies.

REQTS:          Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Business Administration or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as a Senior Product Manager, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience: Gathering and transforming customer and business needs into an actionable product roadmap, and product roadmaps into product requirements; Managing Agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies; Working on web analytics platforms including Google Analytics; Working with customer transactions and communication, operational work flows, internet technologies, and development methodology for a complex multi-business environment; Building products on Android, iOS, Amazon, Blackberry, Nokia, Connected TVs, and Wearables; Communicating complex technical design and digital information to business leaders; Developing website, and mobile sites; and Using Google Analytics; and Supporting remote User testing. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent plus three (3) years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% to various unanticipated Prudential office locations and client sites nationally.
