What You’ll Do

Lead the Distribution Planning team for the EMEAR region. The Distribution Planning team is accountable for providing regional and account leadership to enable distribution bookings revenue, shaping inventory strategy, optimizing cost to serve and provide differentiated partner and customer experience.

 The Distribution Planning team is accountable for driving collaborative planning processes to deliver distribution bookings, revenue attainment, customer experience, market share, financials (including cost to serve), and other fulfillment supply chain business outcomes by managing these major elements:

·       Enable go-to-market strategies and Sales & Customer wins

·       Plan and achieve distribution bookings and revenue goals

·       Optimal Inventory sizing and execution based on forecasts, service level targets and POS

·       Ensure product availability and differentiated service level performance; to distributors and from distributors to their resellers and customers

·       Optimize cost to serve and drive cost reduction initiatives

·       Sense future business needs

·       Increase promotions effectivity

·       Operations product lifecycle

 Who You’ll Work With

Lead team of Distribution Planners. This manager role requires significant collaboration with Distributors and many cross-functional executive leaders within Operations, Finance and Sales.

Adept at seeing cause and effect between supply chain actions and strategic business outcomes. Skilled at anticipating future threats and opportunities for our customers, distributors and businesses, and making decisions based on global business conditions and strategies.  ·       Able to balance multiple functional inputs including distributor forecasts, point of sale information, inventory buffer requirements, product life cycle information from marketing, and statistical forecasts to agree on monthly distributor forecast

 ·       Understand the dynamics between supply and demand balancing and be able to help distributors optimize inventory levels and maximize fill rate

 ·       Accomplished in advanced supply chain, financial and statistical analysis skills to lead and coach cross-functional teams to assess, frame, and drive data-driven decisions. Skilled at recognizing underlying themes, trends, and patterns (quarter over quarter, year or year) to explain current performance in the context of the macro business situation and use this insight to predict and prescribe future financial, operational, and delivery service level outcomes.

 ·       Highly effective at leading conversations that influence and drive optimized decisions with multiple executive stakeholders. Confident in presenting own position despite resistance or unfavorable reactions from others. Able to handle problems or conflicts with others openly and directly. Committed and willing to take risks, make decisions, and escalate when needed to achieve desired business outcomes.

 ·       Highly effective in influencing distributors and establishing strong working relationship with distributors.   Able to identify and drive change in dependent processes within Cisco and with Distribution Partners.   Skilled at partnering across companies to establish programmatic structures to achieve planning breakthroughs and improvements between inventory planning and order management

 ·       Deeply experienced in Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), end-to-end supply chain planning processes, inventory management, product life-cycle management, sourcing, supply chain financials, and/or supply chain modeling.

 ·       Knowledgeable of Cisco’s customers, markets, products, business models, and macro business environment. Able to align internal processes with corporate objectives. Effective in representing that understanding in compelling ways to others.

 ·       Knowledgeable of how business is transacted through Cisco’s systems and overall IT architecture. Able to influence IT architecture to meet business needs.

 ·       An experienced people leader (5+ year). A model for servant leadership principles and values. Effective at ensuring processes, systems, and people operate in concert with each other and required training, support, and metrics are in place to measure and self-correct performance.

 ·       Skilled at translating business and process improvement strategies into operational objectives and plans for the group, including resourcing, budgets and commitment plans. Accomplished at providing coaching and guidance on job performance and career development. Deliberate at developing and nurturing a global, diverse, and inclusive team environment.
