It's all part of our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and bringing value to customers and communities around the world.Job Title:Manager - Emergency Preparedness & Planning - GISATEmployment Type:Full TimeCity:BENTONVILLEState:ARPosition Description:Designs and develops plans and programs globally to address crises and business disruptions by conducting risk and business impact analysis; analyzing risk assessment results to identify areas of improvement in emergency preparedness and planning; analyzing specific incident responses and processes to identify lessons learned and improve risk and mitigation plans; participating in monitoring areas that affect the safety and security of associates and internal assets; and designing, developing, and implementing associate awareness programs about emergency management.

Creates company awareness and proficiency concerning emergency preparedness and planning necessary to maintain and/or restore company operations in the event of an emergency by managing, developing, and delivering plans and procedures and associated training and exercise programs in emergency preparedness and planning; evaluating training content and making necessary revisions and improvements to address gaps; managing the maintenance of divisional and company emergency operations procedures and processes; and managing the design, development, and implementation of applicable policies and procedures to achieve deliverables, projected time frames and budget requirements, and customer service.

Serves in the companys global Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in a staff role (for example, as command staff member, government liaison, emergency support function liaison, general staff) by leading disparate organizations through crisis event; executing company emergency preparedness procedures, response, and recovery plans; translating executive guidance into actionable emergency response and recovery procedures; and collecting and disseminating information from associates and external stakeholders at all levels, including the executive leadership.

Establishes relationships necessary to prepare for and/or respond to emergency situations by identifying and maintaining collaborative partnerships with internal and external organizations; providing guidance to internal business partners on emergency preparedness and response processes and procedures that enable the business to minimize disruptions; developing and maintaining rapport with all levels of management; creating an environment that provides customer service for internal and external partners and customers; and benchmarking other organizations to search for value-added emergency preparedness and planning services and key partners for the company.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Meteorology, or related field and 1 years' experience in crisis or emergency management, global security, asset protection, or related field OR 3 years experience in crisis or emergency management, global security, asset protection, or related field.Additional Preferred Qualifications:3 years' in crisis or business continuity plan development.
