Description The PGS-BT Network Solutions Team is looking for a customer focused, energetic, strategic, and innovative person to supplement the BT business partner in co-locating & supporting the Essential Health, Innovative Health and Consumer Health External Supply teams in GSCPM-ES. At over 25% of our manufacturing volume, External Supply (ES) is an important area to deliver improvements for GSCPM-ES and PGS BT. The person in this role will direct the delivery of essential ES systems and assist in refining and executing the overall team strategy and objectives for external supply.

As an External Supply Business partner, the person in this role will:

• Enable PGS Transformation Initiatives in partnership with the business and other BT organizations.

• Participate in executing the PGS Network Solutions strategy as it relates to External Supply

• In partnership with other BT organizations, support global programs consistent with the overall PGS and BT strategy and objectives

• Ensure Value Realization across PGS for all BT toolsets including SAP through business process harmonization, supporting business change & continuous improvement

• Drive further adoption of the system post go live through coaching teams and optimizing use of the system

Use a thorough understanding of project/program processes and BT existing/future BT technologies to build programs and strategies that contribute to the objectives of the region, market or functional unit



GSCPM-ES Business Partnership:

The person in this role will partner at with the business (Virtual Site Operating Teams (VSOT's) and key influencers in PEH/PIH/PCH Global External Supply at the appropriate level to understand business requirements and align with BT strategy to deliver. He/she will help to refine BT strategy as appropriate to meet business requirements. The successful candidate will understand and leverage escalation points for all relevant BT solutions in the external supply network including programs like Renew, Windows 10 deployment, mobile solutions. The person in this role will focus on interpreting and understanding business requirements and delivering timely solutions to meet those requirements.

+ Has comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, and good understanding/knowledge of principles and concepts of other disciplines.

+ Applies technical and line knowledge of key concepts in own discipline to Global External Supply Clients (PIH, PEH & PCH)

+ Considered a technical resource within the ESBT team in areas of resistibility: Portfolio Management, AC&D, Collaboration Tools, and Business Analytics, Financial Project Management and/or mobile computing.

+ Leverages previous technical/functional expertise to solve business problems for Global External Supply Clients (PIH, PEH & PCH)

+ Contributes to an open communication environment to ensure the knowledge and expertise of Global External Supply Clients (PIH, PEH & PCH)

+ Contributes to communication plans internally and externally (CMO's) to ensure delivery and optimization of key programs. Communicate program successes and other status via newsletters and other vehicles.



Influencing / Working with Others



+ Works with management on decisions that have a significant impact on business direction within Global External Supply Clients (PIH, PEH & PCH)

+ Partners with Global External Supply Clients (PIH, PEH & PCH) to achieve their objectives.



Program & Project Management



+ Manage ESBT Project Portfolio and project related finances (track budgets, PO's, Invoices, etc.)

+ Coordinate global deployment of Collaborative manufacturing programs (Business Analytics, PCOM, PCTD, Trievr, SNC, etc.)

+ Assist in internal and external change through proactive communications with CMO's through VSOT's



+ Coordinate BT Solutions teams (including ERP & BT Quality Solutions) to deliver ESBT solutions.



+ Tracking costs and delivery timelines



+ Raise awareness to ESBT portfolio within BT and across Community of Practice to ensure program alignment and adoption and feedback.



+ Leverage appropriate media to ensure ESBT portfolio awareness

+ Ensure post implementation feedback and Lessons Learned to promote maximum value and continuous improvement.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



+ Required: Bachelor's in a Computer Science or business discipline, MBA Preferred.

+ 6+ years of increasing responsibility in a Technology role within the Pharmaceutical industry

+ Excellent Client relationship skills, preferably years consulting background

+ Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, ingenuity and the ability to work as part of a team

+ Demonstrated ability to leverage innovative technologies in efficiently solving business problems - required.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Can effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and deliver solutions on-time and on-budget - required.

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and deliver projects/programs on-time and on-budget.

+ Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

+ Ability to effectively manage the actions of others in a matrix management structure

+ Familiarity with PGS, External Supply and AC&D

+ Strong interpersonal, influencing, analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously and under direction



PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Provides guidance to and/or may lead/co-lead moderately complex projects

Manages own time to meet objectives; forecasts and plans resource requirements (people, financial and technology) for projects across department.



NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Frequent travel between PGS ES locations.
