Job Details


+ Utilizes scientific knowledge, publications experience, and interpersonal skills to support both global and domestic colleagues by appropriately and expediently writing, managing, tracking and coordinating vaccines medical communications documents (including manuscripts, abstracts, posters and presentations)

+ Adheres to internal Pfizer policies to assure documentation of compliance with ICMJE, Sunshine Act and other applicable publication guidelines in collaboration with external agency partners

+ Other specific tasks include manuscript data verification, journal styling and submission, poster layout, management and maintenance of reference databases and other editorial/managerial responsibilities

+ Attends publications group meetings and updates cross-functional teams on the status of current work in the vaccines space



+ B.S. in a science discipline (advanced degree preferred)

Skills and experience:

+ At least 5 years of publications-related experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in vaccines preferred

+ Ability to understand, analyze, and summarize complicated medical literature

+ Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks within assigned objectives

+ Familiarity with current publication guidelines such as ICMJE, GPP and The Sunshine Act

+ Previous experience with common software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Datavision, EndNote, Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign is required
