Prudential is seeking a Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to join the Human Resources team supporting the Customer Office business group in Sunnyvale, California.  The Customer Office brings multi-dimensional expertise that integrates business, product, analytics, marketing and tech to drive solutions and quicken decision making.  This team powers Prudential to deliver improved customer experiences, meaningful customer engagement and strong economic outcomes.   The Customer Office team collaborates to deliver customer-centric capabilities and solutions as a catalyst to building new solutions across customer experience, sales, marketing, service and analytics for Prudential’s workplace, individual and institutional customers.


The HRBP will provide strategic talent management, diversity & inclusion, performance management and culture support to leaders at all levels within the Customer Office.  Day-to-day responsibilities will include building strong relationships rooted in trust and authentic care for the best interest of all parties involved – the customer, the business and the talent driving it.  As a strategic partner, you will work with senior and mid-level management and partners in Talent Acquisition to craft sourcing strategies and programs that can make a huge impact!  As an employee advocate, you will interface 1x1 with employees to help them navigate a great employment experience at Prudential.  You will be a Customer Office culture carrier – an ear to listen, a cheerleader to encourage and a voice of influence. 


Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Develop and maintain client relationships aligned by business group and execute with excellence on all HR platforms

·         Leverage a clear understanding of business strategy, goals, and opportunities of Prudential, Customer Office and functional areas supported

·         Seize opportunities to enhance leadership excellence, management capability and the employee experience to impact business performance

·         Exercise a balance of thought leadership and service delivery to proactively meet client needs and partner to define issues, determine appropriate solutions and plan execution aligned with vision and strategy

Ability to travel to various office locations approximately 10% of the time

·         Previous experience in an HR Business Partner Role supporting all levels of    leadership

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior executives

·         Proven track record in aligning talent strategy with business objectives

·         Excellent consultative & relationship building skill's

·         Bachelor's degree
