Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive brand is currently looking for a Manager, Infrastructure with 5+yrs of experience to join the team in Memphis, TN.

The Manager Infrastructure leads a team responsible for the IT infrastructure systems including hardware, software, operating systems, applications and operational procedures in multiple environments, including back office, pre-production, production and disaster recovery. 
This position has responsibility for executing, planning, and oversight of all efforts related to IT Infrastructure in order to meet operational business objectives.  Direct management of a team, as well as, hands-on work as needed is required. 

Your Role:
  • Achieves Information Technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and training team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic and tactical plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Completes projects and other work by coordinating resources and timetables with business stakeholders, vendors and other team members
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall planning and execution of budgets for departments along with hardware & system software requirements
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Participates, manages, contributes, and adheres to   policies/procedures and complies with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements; specifically, physical security, data security, and underlying infrastructure support.   Works with management to develop effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored/controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.  If applicable, ensures staff is properly trained, provided with appropriate resources and motivated to adhere to risk management principles.  Maintains current knowledge of risk-related changes that may impact assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Assist with the development and implementation the organization’s strategy in order to meet agreed performance standards and objectives.     


Qualifications

Required Experience (minimum): 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience  
  • Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in Leadership and technical experience, preferably beginning in a “hands on” technical capacity.  
  • Ability to manage/motivate both direct reports and groups towards a common goal.  
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to mentor others with varying degrees of experience and backgrounds.  
  • Ability to work across multiple teams both within Dealertrack and our vendor partners in a hands-on manner.
  • Ability to apply both business and technology skills in formulating solutions across multiple levels.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals to extract, define, and document execution plans towards a common conclusion.  
  • Strong ability to gain consensus across a diverse group of participants.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assist diverse teams in the business/technology initiatives through use of collaborative work sessions.  
  • Able to define creative value propositions for the Line of Business.  
  • Participate in the development of ROI, TCO messages for proposed solutions.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of Business and Technical architecture paradigms and best practices
  • Direct experience across multiple tiers of the infrastructure stack including, but not limited to, Networks (LAN/WAN, Wireless, TCP/IP, MPLS), Operating Systems, Servers & Desktop Hardware, and Telephony.
