The Internet is becoming the "Internet of Everything", and "Things" are driving an explosion in the number of connected devices (sensors, machines, vehicles) as well as the volume of data: The "Internet of Things" or "IoT". The Cisco Kinetic and Jasper Platform team is building the next generation IoT Platform to manage devices and terabytes of data per second.

The scale required to connect, manage, secure, process and move data from these devices in a useful way is unprecedented and is going to require significant innovation to meet the challenge. Cisco Kinetic platform's mission is to meet these challenges.

What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced senior professional to help build out the IOT Value Management practice.  You will have visibility into customer needs and we want you to experiment and engage in work that produces top line results. You have a real passion for focusing on big industry / customer deals and driving them to closure. You understand the IoT business case from a customer perspective and can bring that realization into engineering solutions that will meet that need. Who You Are

  • Extraordinary individual that can work with customer executives and team player who is energetic, driven and a mentor. Global experience in leading large commercial / customer partnerships within the IoT market. Laser focused on closing major deals. Demonstrated success working closely with extremely talented engineering, sales, support and marketing organizations to optimize the product solution and lifecycle process.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in driving through a customer success or inside sales/support organization customer satisfaction, product adoption, business growth, and customer retention.
  • Detailed understanding of the IOT ecosystem, with strength in driving a technology stack, public and private cloud, data management, data connectivity, networking and on-prem compute. 
  • Ability to coach, support, and inspire the existing team while facilitating the growth necessary to support Cisco's Kinetic and Jasper Platforms.
  • A desire to develop and bring to customers, solutions built on a simple foundation, with elegant end user experiences. 
  • A digital native with true love for all things IoT, and a social person by nature
  • Naturally geared toward driving results while nurturing a fun-filled work environment where the extraordinary is encouraged, reached and exceeded.
  • Eager to work with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to make decisions about complex problems associated with the Engineering vertical IOT product stack
  • Organically partners and communicates across functions to drive a comprehensive understanding of all product capabilities and how they drive ROI within the enterprise or through our Service Operator channels.
  • Passion for delivering business results, and optimizing the business performance based on the analysis and optimization based on key performance indicators.
  • Ability to easily transition from customer details to strategic planning.
  • An individual with strong blend of analytical business decision-making and creative problem solving skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced growth environment where we make decisions and then design, build and ship high-quality products on time. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive business responsibility in the areas of IoT / SaaS cloud business applications. Experience in driving an IOT solutions stack is a distinct advantage
  • Track record of success in building and managing a high growth innovative technology business, engaging with customers and partners, and driving a forward looking fully integrated business solutions roadmap for the customer success function across all aspects of the business solution to secure desired business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of customer value in their use of IoT use cases
  • Extensive commercial knowledge in building large enterprise to enterprise business partnerships. 
  • Exceptional communicator with superior interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience leading/supporting engineering engagements and partnerships with technology vendors
  • Strong technical product understanding including the ability to deliver high level solution overviews
