The Manager, License Management manages the operations processes and a team of associates for the Home Services Compliance department. This role focuses on maintaining and renewing all licenses for The Home Depot’s installation services programs in jurisdictions across the country. The Manager ensures The Home Depot has required installation licenses and sales person registrations nationwide. This position manages projects which include updating an internal database that proactively indicates upcoming expirations; forging relationships with local municipalities to work through insurance documentation requirements; assembling data to answer field inquiries and respond to government agency requests and developing repository for permit requirements for installation programs. The Manager is also responsible for process improvement efforts required to support the needs of the field, the Home Services Compliance team and Installation Service Providers.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
30% - Analyze the fundamental components of problems and communicate the correct course of action to minimize financial, legal or brand degradation risk to THD; Develop and implement changes that improve overall operations processes that add value to the organization
20% - Maintain knowledge base regarding specific regulatory updates, operations and processes within licensing & permitting requirements nationwide
20% - Provide robust reporting on the status of licenses, registrations, continuing education units, insurance and bonds to executives
20% - Prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on multiple analyses of industry/business, competitive landscape, and consumer data for area of responsibility; Assist in collaborating findings from data and making verbal/written recommendations
10% - Responsible for training the compliance team install merchants and field partners on newly formed processes and communicating those changes to stakeholders

Environmental Job Requirements:
Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Project Management Certification
Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 5
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
3 years of experience supervising multi-faceted work teams
3 years of process management in a related area
3 years of project management experience
Retail experience and/or construction management
Experience in Services or Operations
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Demonstrate leadership and management experience
