Description **Role Description:** Responsible for undertaking the implementation of complex analytics and reporting strategies; formulate recommended strategies to maximize effectiveness, accuracy and efficiency of processes and systems.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Analyze data and produce information which is the foundation for business intelligence for our stakeholders; design reporting of data that is of high strategic and tactical value.

+ Enable MQA business operations by initiatives that anticipate customers' urgent requests and other business needs; deliver business information to key stakeholders and implement solutions that optimize business benefit and minimize business risk.

+ Lead revisions to the data management systems to ensure the generation of business, operational and quality monitoring metrics.

+ Identify business requirements and implement reporting solutions that streamline and/or re-engineer processes and automate operations.

+ Lead and manage projects to improve usability, consistency, relevance, timeliness, and responsiveness of current reporting technologies.

+ Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external colleagues.

+ Provide technical expertise to MQA around reporting databases and available metrics and reports

+ Demonstrate expertise and guide functional groups to ensure reporting requirements are identified, designed, and distributed appropriately, highlighting and interpreting issues, trends, and variances within the data.

+ Provide MQA functional team leaders with the appropriate data for review and analysis.

+ Develop Job Aids and Train MQA colleagues on system reporting availability and functionality

+ Work with colleagues in the design and development of complex analytics

+ Partner with Business Technology and MQA Audit Process Lead in the design and development of reporting technologies

+ Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that individuals have the necessary technologies, tools, training and support that is required to efficiently execute the MQA audit process

+ Serve as the key contact and system(s)/technology SME across MQA and key stakeholders to ensure that colleagues have the necessary technology support; identify gaps and training requirements as necessary

+ Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new systems and enhancements Participate and lead technology initiatives related to integration


+ Strong analytical skills in assessing business processes, systems, and information flows, as well as compiling and assessing data

+ Experience with various Pfizer systems, reporting platforms and database technologies

+ Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Excel, including VLookup, pivot tables, charting, etc.

+ Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling.

+ Knowledge or exposure to and data sciences (AI, ML, data mining, predictive and text analytics etc) a plus.

+ Demonstrated business acumen and solid understanding of the business processes of the MQA organization

+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, respond to tight timelines, and meet frequently changing priorities

+ Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in matrixed environment

+ Strong collaboration, relationship management, and interpersonal skills

+ Customer-oriented focus and ability to work in cross functional teams


+ Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred

+ Experience in TrackWise, Business Objects, Spotfire, SQL a plus

+ Qualification in Project Management or equivalent, a plus

+ Continuous improvement expertise, a plus

+ Quality Assurance experience, a plus

+ 5+ years of relevant experience
