Position Description:
The Manager, Merch Ops Multichannel manage program and SKU roadmap in collaboration with Merchant and Services Product.  This position will implement analytics strategy and build a repeatable process to launch new program rollouts for Home Services Merchandising . This role will also analyze data to evaluate internal cost, retail and profitability plus conduct competitive/industry reviews. The Manager will oversee the use of various analytical tools to uncover trends and provide insight that will maximize Home Services Merchandising efforts and overall business objectives. This position will research and analyze business trends and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for optimizing existing program and SKU data models to offer simplified selling online and in store. The Manager, Merch Ops Mulitchannel will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the key drivers of performance related to Home Services Merchandising’s objectives.


  • 20%- Plan, coordinate and execute online initiatives for services installation programs and At Home Services, as well as site-wide initiatives including product launches, competitive messaging and promotions
  • 20%-Analyze performance of online content and placements, optimize and make improvements as necessary
  • 20%-Conduct competitive research and benchmarking among other retailers including online and in-store walks. Compare to and recommend to leadership changes to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • 15%-Drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, service installation partners, designers and editors including new functionality, taxonomy and rich media tools
  • 15%-Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, search, affiliate, email, signage) to drive services offers and compelling messages via those media channels. Act as a consultant to other THD teams, advise and recommend online best practices
  • 10%-Partner with online content team to develop new media to enhance the category shopping experience including buying & project guides, product & how-to videos

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Previous experience in retail online or multi-channel role
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing strategies, channels, technologies, principles and processes
  • E-commerce knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated financial and business planning skills
