Position Description

As a Sales Operations Manager, you'll have the opportunity to influence processes and infrastructure to grow the business and deliver a high quality experience for sales producers, sales leaders and consumers. This is a challenging role to grow and develop while doing your life's best work.(sm)

 

Responsible for the daily support of a sales operations function to support producers/sales leaders, and deliver a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting sales data, communicating changes to sales plans, providing knowledge about customers and competitors, and managing the operational logistics of sales activities. Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, goal setting, training and onboarding, troubleshooting order processing issues and producer requests, and sales-related information systems and
procedures.
 
General Job Profile:
 
  • Project manage the overall improvement of the M&R Sales CTM (Complaints To Medicare) results through strategic data analysis to identify trends and causes of existing complaints and then recommend, oversee,  monitor and measure process improvements and their impact to continuously improve our results.
  • Oversee the Sales Capital Planning process
  • Serves as a leader for cross functional teams

Job Scope and Guidelines:
  • Performs complex analyses to understand trends & root cause, identify opportunities for improvement, monitor process performance, and develop a business case
  • Presents information and provides explanation to others on complex issues
  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
  • Leads cross functional/segment teams on projects or to resolve problems and identify solutions
  • Facilitates discussion amongst relevant stakeholders to establish success critiera and goals, in order to direct process improvement and solution design
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gain support for proposed business process solutions
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  • Adapts plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Forecast/plan resource requirements, and track progress
  • Serve as a key resource on complex processes and critical issues
  • Authorizes deviations from standards
  • Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Manage work product and development of Sales Operations Analyst
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a Business Analyst or Project Management role
  • 1-2 years experience leading teams in process improvement
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, formulas, pivot tables)
  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of process/quality management principles and methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Experience with MS Access and Visio
  • Demonstrates initiative and innovative thinking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines
  • Must be meticulous and possess a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively lead cross functional/segment teams, and provide direct supervision to staff team members.
