Position Description:
The Manager, Organizational Development will design and implement enterprise-wide solutions in both Organizational Design (OD), and Change Management (CM). This includes planning, coordinating, and general oversight of specific OD initiatives, as well as development and delivery of OD/CM tools, processes, and training for HR partners and business leaders

She/He will identify Organizational Design (OD)/ Change Management (CM) needs and providing solutions that enable a high performing, engaged workforce to achieve business results. In addition to OD/CM projects, the ODC supports the design, creation, and maintenance of change management, organizational design, and team development tools, processes, and training


  • Provides consulting on large scale change management and organization design projects. 
  • Partners with Senior Manager, Organizational Development to oversee the use of executive coaches; manages a cohort of external executive coaches 
  • Manages enterprise-wide mentoring programs; develops tools and resources to support mentoring efforts. 
  • Conducts appropriate analysis to anticipate and communicate current and emerging organizational needs; keeps abreast of changes and trends in leadership and organization development and proactively surfaces recommendations for improvements. 
  • Evaluates and measures the impact of OD interventions to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and lessons learned are shared; adjusts as necessary based on feedback.

  • No direct reports


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Human Resources Development, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field preferred. 
  • Proven experience in the design and deployment of OD solutions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Strong consultative skills including organizational diagnosis and the ability to provide pragmatic, just-in-time recommendations. 
  • Ability to apply theories and principles of organization development into practical, easy-to-implement OD solutions that closely align with business needs and organizational strategy. 
  • Solid decision making skills, creativity and business acumen; must possess demonstrable strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail. 
  • Strong presentations and group facilitation skills; excellent ability to communicate with peers and higher level management. 
  • Strong project management skills. Must have ability to initiate project plans and balance multiple changing deadlines and priorities. 
  • Action orientation and flexibility in a changing, fast-paced environment with multiple work demands. 
  • Solid influencing skills, particularly at senior levels. 
  • Strong customer service orientation; proven ability to build relationships and create positive customer interactions. 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
