You will be part of one of Cisco’s fastest growing, disruptive, and innovative sales teams and the talent engine for Cisco Sales. We serve our customer life-cycle through a series of selling motions (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renewal, and Services) in order to drive higher value and an optimal experience from Cisco solutions.

The Global Virtual Engineering team within the Global Virtual Sales and Customer Success (GVS&CS) organization is a dynamic and multicultural team that consistently delivers technology sales enablement therefore contributing to profitable growth.  Who You Are

Are you a people-focused strategy and/or business development professional with a broad knowledge of Cisco and/or relevant industry products, solutions, technologies, software and related programs?

Do you love facilitating strategic discussions, orchestrating business development conversations, and are passionate for operations excellence?

If you are a guru in translating strategic initiatives into clear execution-ready deliverables, if you can help operationalize strategy and goals into a compelling value proposition for the team, then we want you!

Our minimum requirements for this role:


·       7+ years of experience in strategic planning capability: Corporate Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience as well as high-growth company experience are a plus.

·       Demonstrated consulting and/or project management experience in professional services organization with relevant experience managing a services practice within a software company (Security and SaaS experience preferred).

·       Ability to help lead strategic planning to success within committed timeline, including defining road-map, facilitating decision-making on priorities and organizational changes.

·       Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and figure out an effective course of action. Ready to take on calculated risks.

·       Responsible to drive technical adoption operations efficiency and excellence, help lead a team of business operations managers and help the Strategy and Planning lead continue to drive our offer adoption strategy.

·       Ability to engage both with cross-functional and GVS&CS leaders on a regular basis to drive strategy planning and address potential issues regarding Adoption capabilities for GVE.

·       Passionate about the rapidly evolving world of Information Technologies, understand and follow the new technological trends and business models

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, operations, or mathematics. MBA and Graduate degree in Business and/or Strategic Planning is a major plus.

·       People oriented, interested and skilled in growing, able to work with early in careers as well as experienced professionals.

·       Understands the value of software sales and “everything-as-as-service”

·       Experience in support of technical sales as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, involved in technical adoption capabilities, and/or the equivalent is a plus.

·       Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
