Primary responsibilities include setting team direction, resolving problems and providing guidance to members of own team. Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities. Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors. Oversee work activities of Supervisors, Analysts, and other team members.


Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise and oversee metrics and daily production for department supervisors and staff
  • Ensure all internal/external customer business expectations are met
  • Responsible for review and development of policy and procedures tailored to the clients/products
  • Develop new processes and process maps for Audit and Recovery department
  • Driving process improvements and increasing the team’s overall productivity
  • Ensure compliance with CMS and state regulations
  • Responsible for the oversight of quality
  • Work and communicate with clients on ad hoc projects and address ongoing service needs
  • Communicate with other departments (Legal, Regulatory, Claims, Finance, Network) when necessary
  • Assist Director & Sr. Manager in duties and prioritizations of audit workload
  • Report pharmacies to Network team upon identification of contract violation
  • Provide leadership to, and is accountable for the performance of Analysts and Supervisors
  • Work with other management to discuss performance guidelines of staff
  • Provide input on business process improvements with management
  • Continuously emphasize the importance of adhering to departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensure effective FWA awareness training is presented to all staff members
  • Facilitate team and department meetings with other management
  • Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors.
  • Impact of work is most often at the local level.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years supervisory / lead role in a pharmacy setting or PBM environment
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in state of California
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Investigative experience

Assets:

  • Certified medical coder
  • Previous experience developing policies, procedures and business processes
  • Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
  • Anti-fraud principle knowledge
