Manager, Regional Sales – Collaboration (People Manager role for Enterprise Division)

 

What you’ll do

 

Cisco seeks a Regional Sales Manager for driving Collaboration sales. Software and cloud sales background is preferred if experience in Collaboration Sales is limited.

 

Requirements include,

 

·       A strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships and account planning.

 

·       This role involves positioning and promoting Cisco's solutions in Collaboration space or Software/Cloud Sales

 

·       The ideal candidate possesses strategic business and technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment.

 

·       This is a good opportunity to apply your sales leadership experience working with great sales teams and solutions in Collaboration.

 

 

Who you’ll work with

 

·       Will be responsible for an annual booking/revenue quota of $30+M with significant growth in subsequent years.

 

·       Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment.

 

·       Experience in closing large transformation deals and good relationship with large customers.

 

·       Lead a strong sales team to achieve and exceed sales quota and provide mentoring and coaching to the team on a regular basis.

 

·       This position is responsible for accurate forecasting and managing health of business by delivering on all business parameters.

 

·       Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment.

 

·       Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.

 

·       Extensive travel may be required. Must be able to lead a geographically dispersed team, with both direct and indirect reports.

 

·       Will need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities.

 

·       Will work closely with various stakeholders in Channels, architectures, corporate affairs etc.

 

 

Who you Are

 

·       An MBA or graduate degree preferred.

 

·       Sales management in similar business environment of Collaboration.

 

·       17+ years of sales experience.

 

·       Specific examples of closing large, strategic deals.

 

·       Knowledge of market trends and strong connects in the enterprise space.

 

·       Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment.

 

·       Selling solutions to large Enterprise? customers

 

·       Developing customer relationships.

 

·       Understanding a broad range of  Collaboration (Video, UC, CC IP Telephony) technologies required OR Software/Cloud technologies.
