ADP is hiring a Manager Sales Operations -- Sales Coverage and Analytics. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the sales insights and incentive design functions within the Global Enterprise Solutions Sales organization. In conjunction with centralized Sales Operations, finance and IT, the Manager will help develop incentive compensation structures, develop a territory optimization model, inform quota setting decisions, and develop reporting packages to support the growth of sales in the large market segment of ADP. Fosters the use of analytics and data in support of decision making and sales strategy. Ensures best practices and tools are implemented across Sales. Drives integration and alignment across the sales organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns assessment, recommendation, and implementation of Sales Incentive structure, Territory Optimization practice, and Quota setting practice in GES
  • Uses quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess and make recommendations to current sales compensation, territory optimization, and quota setting practice.
  • Persuades senior leaders to act based upon findings/recommendations of assessment.
  • Creates action plan and implements accepted recommendations.
  • Works with GES Sales Insights team to develop quantitative model to determine territory optimization levels (based on sales potential and workload balancing), and quota setting optimization levels.
  • Works with central sales operations and sales insights to develop actionable reporting for compensation, territory optimization, and quota setting areas.
  • Helps/leads development of analytical framework for decision making regarding market segments to target, Sales ROI, and staffing levels
  • Coordinates with central sales operation on the design and roll out of tools, Tableau analytics, and coverage analytics.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Candidate should have a BA/BS degree.
  • 5-7 years experience in either sales, sales analytics or financial analysis in a corporate environment, including 12 months of experience in sales operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Strong understanding of data analytics and financial analysis as well as a history of engaging with sales leadership.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint and be proficient in Microsoft Access or similar database tool.
  • Prior Sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior use of Salesforce.com, Tableau and Cognos are a plus.
