Role Summary:

Reporting to the TA Commercial lead, the Manager, Talent Acquisition PEH will spearhead the development and execution of PEH recruitment strategies and processes to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with current laws, regulations and company policy. S/he will manage a small recruitment team and serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership and Human resources colleagues.

Additionally, s/he will recruit best in class passive candidates for positions across multiple levels and business units within Pfizer and proactively create talent pipeline strategies while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop a detailed understanding and awareness of each business area and its organization in order to improve the quality and alignment of recruitment support with the needs of the area.

Support full-life cycle recruitment needs across all business units including direct sourcing techniques, consultative skills, and compensation, ensuring that every stage from the raising of the initial staff requisition to final appointment is carried out in accordance with global operating procedures and adhere to best practice principles.

Responsible to define and implement a standard and consistent process, define service guidelines and metrics as needed.

Increase candidate flow and develop strategic sourcing solutions that will attract and acquire high quality candidates.

Work cross functionally (HR business partners, PEH Leadership, Training, BT, etc) to establish efficient recruitment process and timelines to align with business needs while maintaining compliance and integrity.

Evaluate candidate backgrounds to match core competencies with key hiring requirements and assess motivational fit.

Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions including direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, utilization of external research, etc. Proactively create a talent pipeline of candidates.

Effectively integrate diversity into the staffing process to ensure diverse candidate slates.

Build strong relationships with the various line and functional clients to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process.

Participate in cross functional, global, project teams as necessary


BS degree in Human Resource, Business, or related discipline

5+ years of recruiting experience, Pharmaceutical Commercial recruiting experience preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations applicable to hiring practices

Proven record of implementing successful strategic sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, selection techniques and diversity recruiting

Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders

Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and social media/networking sites

Prior experience working with Workday or other applicant tracking systems a plus
