The financial services Manager of Training & Development is responsible for leading, coordinating, implementing, maintaining and delivering training in the firm for our inexperienced and experienced advisors or professionals. The Manager of Training & Development will provide top quality training to drive sales productivity with insurance and financial services products, fundamental development, e-learning and technology.
Primary responsibilities and duties include:
Training and Development 
    • Manage the licensing and development program for financial sales advisors
    • Coordinate, implement, and mange any curriculum and training for financial sales advisors
    • Drive and lead industry study programs and professional designations
      Marketing and Prospecting
    • Partner with firm leadership team to build, update, validate and implement quarterly marketing and prospecting business plans for financial sales advisors as well as management team
    • Ability to diagnose and recommend training solutions based on objectives
Core Sales Skill Development 
    • Deliver and coach to Prudential’s curriculum and sales skills processes
    • Participate in joint work in the field with financial sales advisors to demonstrate, observe and coach 
    • Demonstrate prospecting calls, personal interactions, fact finding, client recommendations, closing and referral gathering skills to assist sales associates in making sales



  • Licensing: L&H, S6, S63, S65 preferred
  • Financial services experience and knowledge of financial services products and markets
  • Ability to be viewed as a credible and knowledgeable source in financial services to the firm
  • Excellent group presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven proficiency in relationship driven sales process and selling skills
  • Proven proficiency with marketing and prospecting programs
  • Organization/time management skills
  • Proficiency in technology applications including distance-learning tools
  • Achievement oriented with a track record of success in previous roles
  • 4-year college degree preferred   
  • Create and execute a Self-Development and personal growth in Leadership plan
  • Ability to travel periodically with possible over night stay
