Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join our team in Little Island, Cork on a 12 month contract basis.

We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCos mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. This is a hybrid role comprising of both front line manufacturing activities as well as supply chain customer services duties. The purpose of this role is to liaise with the R&D department globally to ensure the correct stock items are being stocked and replenished in a timely manner to ensure that they are available to the R&D community at all times. This role will interact with all the different departments to ensure that the sample process is being followed in a timely manner.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Capture demand from the R&D centres on SAP
  • Generate Sales order to drive the replenishment process
  • Interact with Planning, Quality, Operations, Customer Service to get shipments delivered on time
  • Monitor& controlling the process to ensure working effectively
  • When required, capture samples as required when the bulk is being manufactured
  • When required, facilitate the delivering of samples to the Finished goods warehouse
  • When required, pick and pack the samples for shipment to the customer
  • Generate shipping documents to enable goods to move efficiently to the customers
  • Work with the customer service agents to combine shipments on a weekly basis, where possible to reduce freight costs
  • Generate metrics to demonstrate process adherence to agreed KPIs
  • Generate metrics that demonstrate the level of sample usage by R&D teams
  • Annually review items being stocked to eliminate SKUs which are being obsoleted
  • Annually review items to identify new SKUs which should be stocked
  • Complete SAP setups and labels to enable samples to be shipped
  • Complete regular reviews with the R&D centres to monitor performance and usage of samples
  • Meet all internal & external compliance responsibilities including GCS ,SOX & AIBI.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3rd Level educational qualification in Supply Chain, Business or Related Discipline desirable.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced supply chain or manufacturing environment, with experience of customer facing activities and communication essential.
  • Experience of working with SAP system is critical
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Analytical, with a proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
  • Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment, and with multiple organizations and nationalities
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks
  • Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives
  • Attention to detail and proficiency with preparing documentation
  • Customer service and documentation experience would be very beneficial and preferred.
